Protein water brand achieves 100 per cent business growth

Proving a clear demand for protein-powered products, trail-blazing brand, Vievé, has revealed 100 per cent business growth as consumers clamber for fitness-fueling fixes.

It was only five years ago that Vievé set out to create a deliciously-refreshing drink that not only tasted great, but also provided nutritional benefits to its customers. Launched in 2018, it introduced its collagen protein waters and quickly took the health industry by storm, achieving steady growth and stealing an 85 per cent share of the protein water category on Amazon.

Having achieved 160 per cent revenue growth during covid, 62 per cent growth in 2022 and 100 per cent in the first quarter of this year, Vievé is now expanding its distribution further, trading in five new markets across Europe, The Middle East and Africa and stocking its range of naturally-flavoured drinks in 500 stores globally.

As the functional drinks market has exploded with the market size of the Fruit Drink & Functional Beverage Production industry increasing by 8.8 per cent in 2022 Vieve’s range of drinks has introduced a completely different way for health-conscious individuals to increase their nutrition, with protein-packed, low calorie, dairy free and fat free protein waters that help fuel an active lifestyle.

Rafael Rozenson, founder and CEO of Vievé, explains, “We are so proud of Vievé and its growth over the last half-decade. We began with nothing but an idea, which raised many eyebrows when we explained that we wanted to add 20g of protein into a water drink. But after some trial and error with flavour combinations, we were able to create our core range of fruity protein waters that have fulfilled a clear gap in the market.”

Continuing its trailblazing lead within the health drinks sector, Vieve also launched the world’s first vegan protein water last year. “We are committed to innovation and product development. We were the first brand to launch a vegan protein water and continue to develop products, unveiling new flavours that aim to surprise and satisfy our growing customer base.”

Having passed seven figures on its run rate for the first time in the past 12 months, and with a new 120-strong listing with WHSmith in the UK, Ireland and Europe under its belt, Vievé’s success looks set to continue as it sets its sights on further retail growth. “The demand for functional drinks is there and we intend to continue to lead the way in innovation and quality,” adds Rafael.
