Chester-le-Street car firm opens workshop and revamps its showroom
Performance 28, a prestigious garage located on the Drum Industrial Estate in Chester-le-Street, has opened a state-of-the-art workshop and revamped its luxury showroom.
The newly opened 4,000 square feet unit workshop is equipped with ramps and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to offer services including diagnostics, servicing and repairs, plus cosmetic and performance modifications for a range of cars.
The company has also revamped its existing 7,000 square foot property into a modern showroom. The new-look dealership showroom now displays an extended range of cars including brands Audi, Bentley, Dodge, Lamborghini, and Mercedes-Benz.
Established in 2018 by entrepreneurs Aiden Sunter and Tony Thomson, the move follows a £250,000 investment. The new workshop means the company will now double its specialist mechanic team from two to four to meet demand as it expects an increase in annual turnover.
Aidan explained: “Having been based in Chester-le-Street since opening, we have established a very loyal customer base of repeat customers with over 80 percent of trade coming from their recommendations.
“While we specialise in prestigious car brands, we provide a comprehensive range of services for all makes and models from 4×4 vehicles to performance sport cars. This includes repairs, servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics alongside parts, accessories, tyres, and high-performance upgrades.”
The revamped showroom means they can display more sports, electric, and luxury cars than any other dealers across the country. It even caught the attention of Newcastle United football player Dan Burn. The sports star is now being sponsored Performance 28 who supplied him with a Dodge Challenger Hellcat.
Adian said: “Our new look showroom area serves as a hub for both car enthusiasts and our customers, and we’re excited to welcome them and provide a fantastic experience.”
