Georgina Roberts, Cullimore Dutton

Chester legal and financial services firm Cullimore Dutton has grown its Wills, Trusts & Estates team with the appointment of a new solicitor.

Georgina Roberts, who specialises in all aspects of Private Client work, has joined the Chester based firm.

Georgina is also a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly, which means she has trained to work with older and more vulnerable clients.

She said: “I’m really excited to join Cullimore Dutton and I’m enjoying getting to know the rest of the team and the clients – everyone has been so welcoming to me.

“Private Client is an interesting area of the law and I enjoy helping people at what can sometimes be a difficult and stressful time of their lives.”

Andrew Chadwick, Focus-Trust

Focus-Trust, a charitable, multi-academy trust with 15 primary schools based in the North-West of England and West Yorkshire has appointed Andrew Chadwick as its new Safeguarding, Ambition and Inclusion Lead.

Formerly the Head of School, Safeguarding Lead and SENDCo at Wilsden Primary School, Andrew will ensure that each school within the trust has a true ethos of inclusion, safeguarding, and an ambition that all children will achieve and excel in all aspects of life.

Welcoming him to his new position, Helen Rowland said: “Andrew’s passion and commitment to inclusion and safeguarding during his time at Wilsden Primary School, and making sure every child is safe, happy, and successful, has been so admirable. We are thrilled to be welcoming him into his new role as Safeguarding, Ambition and Inclusion Lead.”

Commenting on his new role, Andrew said: “This role is my dream role and I’m so excited to be helping to improve lives across 15 primary schools. Focus-Trust is a wonderful Trust that focuses on the best for children. This important role allows me to focus on my passions, and support our fifteen schools to improve the lives of all our children children.”

Christian Kumar, Medilink Midlands

The charismatic Chief Executive Officer of Medtech Makers Lab, Christian Kumar, has been appointed Entrepreneur in Residence for Medilink Midlands.

Christian brings his extensive experience in corporate finance, investment banking and wealth management, gained over three decades of dedicated involvement in driving strategic growth for various enterprises to bear to help support the ambitions of Medilink Midlands members as they strive to commercialise their own innovations.

Christian comments: “The Entrepreneur in Residence programme is designed to facilitate innovation, providing support and a tactical roadmap for innovators in the Midlands.” He adds: “I’m delighted to be engaging with Medilink Midlands and only too pleased to be able to put my knowledge and experience to excellent use.”

Throughout his career, Christian has honed a profound understanding of strategic growth across diverse sectors and is proud to have played a pioneering role in developing “demand-based” business modelling.

Christian has thrived in the dynamic realms of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking, evident by his impressive portfolio encompassing six companies and over 22 investments across sectors such as Leisure, Med Tech, Construction, and Energy.
