The Pop-Up Club signs retail extension after success in London Victoria shopping hotspot
High street retailer The Pop-Up Club has signed a six month extension to keep the doors of its Cardinal Place experience open for another six months after a successful six week stint before Christmas.
The Pop-Up Club opened its doors for the first time in Cardinal Place last year and quickly became a shopping destination that offered something different on the high street. This perfectly placed pop-up experience offers shoppers the opportunity to discover and purchase unique gifts from small and sustainable brands whilst boosting the local economy.
Since launching in 2017, The Pop-Up Club has helped small retailers and traders earn more than £1.3m, and it supports independent businesses by offering them a platform to sell and meet customers on the high street.
The Pop-Up Club offers artists, designers and sustainable small businesses affordable retail spaces on high streets allowing them to reach a wider customer demographic, as well as supporting small businesses and retailers that have taken the plunge to turn passion projects into fully fledged businesses and who want to explore retail as an addition to their ecommerce offering.
As a retailer, it also brings consumers out to shop on the high street with their ‘shop small, shop local’ ethos. In past years, The Pop-Up Club has held locations in Manchester, Chelmsford, Essex, Brighton, Kent, as well as various other London locations.
Visitors to The Pop-Up Club’s Cardinal Place store can discover nearly 40 curated small brands and designers, including handcrafted and eco-friendly gifts, cards, ceramics, homeware, jewellery, artwork, kids prints and lots more.
Carefully curated traders on offer include independent retailers such as embroidered napkins and homeware from We Are The Lost Girls Ltd, bold and colourful prints from Nephthys Illustrated, sustainable children’s toys from Eeny Meeny and handmade home décor from recycled materials with Arkadia Dalia. The shop will also offer workshops and chances to meet independent traders within its retail space.
With London Victoria being one of the city’s busiest train stations, the nearby Cardinal Place offers a chance for locals and tourists to discover exciting emerging British made brands as well as the perfect place to dash out for a gift for a loved one in your lunch break.
The Pop-Up Club stands alongside household names like Sweaty Betty, Accessorize, Boots and Marks & Spencer as part of the shopping on offer at Cardinal Place as well as a host of food and drink outlets. The Cardinal Place pop up shop is now open and will welcome shoppers from 10am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11pm until 5pm on Sundays.
