North East housing provider launches more than 30 new job vacancies
The North East’s largest housing provider, Thirteen Housing Group, is on the search for more than 30 people to join its Property Services team as part of a new recruitment drive.
The group, which manages 35,000 homes in the region, is looking to fill a range of permanent roles to help deal with an increased demand from customers for housing repairs.
There are 33 roles available in total, which are a combination of site and office based. Applications for the roles can be submitted until midnight on Sunday 11 February.
Thirteen’s head of repairs and maintenance, Steph Lawlor, has been with the group since she was a trainee in 2003.
Steph said: “It’s really exciting to be launching these new opportunities to join our repairs and maintenance team. We carry out around 140,000 vital repairs for our customers every year and over recent years we have seen this number increase.
“We’re committed to delivering a good quality responsive repairs service to the people that live in our homes, and we want to increase the size of our team so we have more capacity to reduce future appointment wait times, and keep customer satisfaction high.”
