Independent digital agency celebrates ‘incredible’ growth and London expansion

Manchester based digital agency Embryo is celebrating an incredible year of business success as the company prepares to mark its ninth anniversary.

Since being founded in 2015, the company has earned recognition for its ‘remarkable’ growth, numerous awards and impactful charity initiatives.

Positioned in the Top 50 UK digital agencies, Embryo’s founder, Ross Green, commented on the company's growth and achievements, saying: "As we celebrate our ninth year in business, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved and the incredible journey we’ve had.

“From being a small start-up to becoming the agency we are today with over 60 employees, and producing award-winning campaigns for well-known brands such as The Range, HSS Hire and Wonderbra, this milestone is a testament to our agency’s innovative approach to marketing campaigns and data-driven strategies.

“We are not just marking nine years but we’re also celebrating victories, the wins of our clients, the growth of our company and the dedicated commitment of every person in our talented team.”

The company’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction is clear as its client base has grown exponentially, now serving a diverse range of industries. Most recently, the agency won a competitive four-way pitch for global tech firm Roland DG’S European paid activity.

Due to their success in seeing what others don’t and living up to their core values of together, curious, innovative and focused, the business reported a 36.5 per cent increase in turnover, finishing 2023 with a figure of £5.05m.

The growth hasn’t just been financial as the agency also grew its workforce by 21.4 per cent over the past year, with notable additions to their board of directors including Sam Middleton as operations director from PZ Cuzons and Chair Chris Searson bringing a wealth of experience with them.

To embrace its ever-increasing team, Embryo recently underwent a significant office refurbishment, expanding its workspace by an additional 1,800 square feet. As it celebrates its achievements, the company is positioned for even greater success in the years to come. With more big targets and an expansion of a London office set for later this year.

Ross concluded: “I want to express my thanks to our clients, partners and the entire Embryo team for their support and part they’ve played in our success. We are excited about the future and the continued opportunities to make a positive impact in the digital industry.”
