East Yorkshire based vitamin and supplement business announces record growth
Vyta Health, a vitamin and supplement business headquartered in East Yorkshire, has completed another record year of growth. In 2023, revenue grew by 42 per cent from £17.4m to £25m.
Last year, the team expanded with eight new hires, Dario Michel and Alex Plumb joined in the Netherlands as Content Manager and Marketing Manager in the Amazon team, and John Early joined as SEO Manager in the UK.
The warehouse and finance teams also grew to assist with the increase in sales and Ben Schmitz was promoted to Managing Director in the Netherlands. Several senior hires are planned for 2024.
To support the growth of the business, Vyta Health opened a new custom-built distribution centre in the Netherlands last year, and has agreed office expansion plans in the UK.
The team continues to onboard new brand partners who share their ambitions to provide high quality supplements from trusted sources to meet customers’ healthcare needs in Europe. Vyta Health is looking forward to celebrating 15 years in business this year.
Will Brennand, Group CEO, commented: “We’re excited to see the ongoing growth of our business as we continue to source and distribute high quality supplements for our UK and European customers.
“I’m delighted to promote Ben to MD to lead the Netherlands distribution centre and support the group’s strategic objectives. We will continue to work closely with our US brand partners and import the products that consumers are looking for.”
