Pull on your leg warmers - the ultimate 80s party is heading for North Tyneside

Fans of iconic 80s hits are set for a night to remember when one of the most exciting shows from this legendary musical era rocks into North Shields.

Cultural venue, The Exchange 1856 on Howard Street is playing host to ‘Now that’s what I call the 80s’ featuring all the greatest 80s hits performed by a full 7-piece live band with amazing male & female vocalists. 

Classic tracks by Queen, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Rick Astley & Spandau Ballet amongst many others will be blasted out, with the audience encouraged to dress up 80s-style to dance the night away.

Organiser, Paul Clark, who is also the drummer in the show, said: “The show promises to be a fantastic night out for anyone who loves 80s music. This is an era known for its wild style, catchy tunes and iconic pop culture moments and our show aims to capture it all.

“The Exchange 1856 is the perfect venue to come and have a great time and enjoy the music. We’re encouraging everyone to dust off their best 80s gear, grab some friends and step back in time for the ultimate 80s party.”
