Devin Consulting makes key appointment to its management team

Swimming pool and spa engineering consultants Devin Consulting have appointed James Coombes as the new operations manager, after he has excelled as a senior project manager helping deliver projects such as The Avenues in Riyadh, Pennyhill Park Spa and The Broadway in London, and the Manchester Aquatic Centre.

James has been with the North Shields-based company for six years and has a wealth of engineering knowledge and experience from his time as a marine engineer at Babcock International, designing and overseeing the construction of high specification naval vessels.

He was promoted to the role of senior project engineer three years ago, taking responsibility for the delivery of pool and spa projects and covering all of Devin’s six product areas in pool water treatment, pool tanks, movable pool structures, interactive and decorative water features and heat experiences.

Colin Dougall, managing director, said: “We are delighted that James has agreed to join the management team at Devin.

“His experience and drive will be a big asset in the development of our pool and spa business.”
