Northumberland launches entrepreneurs festival
A ‘first-of-its-kind opportunity’ is set to empower Northumberland’s aspiring entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect, learn and pitch their ideas to investors.
The Northumberland Enterprise Festival, led by Northumberland Small Business Service, will offer workshops, expert talks, and investor pitch sessions across multiple venues from November 12 to 14.
Tailored for early-stage entrepreneurs, the festival aims to refine business plans, develop pitch skills, and introduce funding options, including the ‘much-anticipated’ Northumberland Small Business Start-up Grant.
Programme manager Lucy Evermore said :“We are incredibly excited to bring this event to Northumberland.
“We believe this is the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs across the county to gain critical insights and practical skills, and potentially secure the funding they need to make their business ideas a reality.”
The Northumberland Small Business Service (NSBS) is delivered by Northumberland County Council. The project is part funded by the North East Combined Authority and the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund, with the North East Combined Authority as the lead authority.
