MMC Research expands with London hub
A market research and behavioural insights agency has embarked on a capital expansion.
MMC Research has opened a London hub.
The Sunderland-founded business says the move will “enhance its services” and put it “closer to clients in the private equity, software as a service and pharma sectors”.
The venture – which aims to drive £100,000 revenue over the next 12 months – will be led by quantitative researcher Alice Broomhall, who has been with MMC since 2021.
Natasha McDonough, MMC founder and chief executive, who hails from London but switched to the North East 17 years ago, says the move will add a new dimension to the firm’s offer.
She said: “It feels great to establish a base in my home city while continuing to expand MMC’s reach in London.
“We’ve been spending more time on projects in London over the past year, and with Alice already based there, it made sense to solidify our offering.
"We’re transparent about this being a hub, as we champion remote working and flexibility.
“But having a formal presence in London enables us to better serve our growing client base and provides a central space to collaborate from for myself, Alice and future MMC recruits in the city.”
As part of the expansion, MMC, which also has team members in Manchester, has joined the London Chamber of Commerce.
Natasha, who is currently North East Chamber of Commerce vice president, added: “We’re thrilled to be part of the London Chamber, and are excited to attend next year’s British Chambers of Commerce event.
“It will be a fantastic opportunity to spend more time with colleagues and build further connections in the capital.”
