Local Care Force celebrates 20 years of success

A specialist healthcare recruiter is marking two decades of providing vital staffing solutions and training in the nursing, healthcare and social care sectors.

Local Care Force, with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester, has completed over 1.5 million shifts and supports 550 temporary staff alongside its 35-strong core team.

Recognised for its compliance and quality standards, the agency has been a top supplier to organisations including private hospitals such as Priory and HFT, a specialist learning disability provider, for over a decade.

Founded by former healthcare professional Leanne Silverwood, the company has introduced more than 1,100 individuals to care careers through its ‘Prepare to Care’ and ‘New to Care’ training courses.
