Wildstone appoints new chief financial officer
Outdoor media infrastructure owner Wildstone has appointed Stuart Smith as chief financial officer to support its global expansion efforts.
Stuart, who joins from FTSE 100-listed gaming giant Entain, brings extensive expertise in international finance, M&A, and market entry strategies. At Wildstone, he will oversee all financial activities and collaborate with the board and executive leadership team to execute the company’s growth strategy.
He said: “I am thrilled to be joining Wildstone during this period of international expansion. Wildstone is a great business, with the right backers and a talented management team.
“Having spent the last eight years working at a Plc, I’m excited to return to my private equity roots and apply the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to help the company in its ongoing mission to grow.”
Damian Cox, CEO and founder, added: “I am delighted to welcome Stuart to Wildstone. As we expand globally, it is imperative that we continue to employ the best-in-class in all areas of our operation.”
This appointment comes as Wildstone continues its overseas expansion, recently entering the Australian market and growing its portfolios in Spain and Germany. In the UK, Wildstone has cemented its leadership in digital outdoor media, developing over 1,000 digital screens in the past four years.
