Leading construction company Glencar has strengthened its ESG team with the appointment of Grigory Grebennikov as carbon manager, reflecting its commitment to low-carbon innovation in construction.
Grigory brings extensive expertise from his previous role at Mott MacDonald, where he worked on high-profile projects, including Google’s new headquarters and NHS building decarbonisation.
In his new role, he will focus on reducing carbon emissions, enhancing resource efficiency, and embedding sustainable practices across Glencar’s operations and supply chain.
He said: “I am thrilled to join Glencar at such a pivotal time. The company’s vision for sustainability aligns perfectly with my passion for delivering decarbonisation, embedding sustainable practices, and making a meaningful environmental impact.
“Together, I look forward to helping drive forward the green future that Glencar is championing.”
This appointment supports Glencar’s net-zero roadmap, reinforcing its position as a leader in sustainable construction.
James Scott, ESG Director at Glencar, added: “At Glencar, sustainability is integral to everything we do.
“The appointment of a carbon specialist marks an exciting milestone in our ESG journey.
“This role highlights our dedication to minimising environmental impact and leading by example within the construction industry. We look forward to delivering even greater value to our clients in this context.”
