Apprentice winner expands fitness venture
A reality gameshow champion has a spring in her step after launching plans to grow her fitness venture.
Rachel Woolford, winner of 2024’s The Apprentice, is expanding Leeds-based North Studio.
Working with Lord Alan Sugar, Rachel has bought commercial space to create a Reformer Pilates studio next to her existing endeavour.
The 28-year-old says it will bolster the Roundhay business’ offer by adding a further 120 Pilates classes each month.
The move comes after former economic and business management student Rachel triumphed on the hit BBC show, securing a £250,000 prize and the chance to go into business with Lord Sugar.
She said: “We’re all about delivering the highest quality, small group personalised fitness experiences.
“With investment from Lord Sugar, we are now able to achieve the next stage in our planned growth with the addition of a fantastic new space dedicated to Reformer Pilates that is still in keeping with our boutique studio vibe.
“I am extremely excited to start this new chapter in partnership with Lord Sugar and the team is working hard to bring the new studio to life ready to welcome clients.”
Lord Sugar added: “Our acquisition of the commercial premises marks not only a significant milestone for North Studio but also a bold step forward in our new business partnership."
