POWWR appoints new head of UK sales
Energy software provider POWWR has promoted Andy Taylor to head of UK sales as the company builds on its success over the past year.
With over 20 years of experience in the energy market, Andy has held senior roles at Economy Power, E.ON and RWE npower, where he grew TPI sales and led strategic sales initiatives.
Since joining POWWR in 2022, he has played a key role in expanding the company’s Sales360 solution into new markets.
Andy said: “During my time at npower, I became a POWWR customer and was instantly impressed by the difference it made to our operations.
“Growth was fast and strong, with the POWWR portal helping us recruit hundreds of new brokers into the company’s sales team, until TPI sales eventually made up 80 per cent of total sales.”
"It is a great time to highlight the fantastic products and services POWWR has available and build upon the incredible success achieved by the team in the past few years.
“Plus, I am excited to head back to the UK, a place where I had many happy and successful times working with both brokers and suppliers in the past.”
Andy’s appointment comes as POWWR continues to enhance its suite of software solutions, including the launch of Sales360 Market Insights and New Connections, which streamline processes and provide valuable analytics for energy suppliers.
Andy will lead the UK sales team and report to chief commercial officer Paul Hodnett, who added: "I have known Andy for many years. He is an excellent sales leader who has consistently demonstrated his ability to inspire teams.
“I am looking forward to working directly with him to help energy brokers and suppliers in the UK boost sales, increase margins, and manage their risk more effectively.”
