Hall & Co Property unveils Stockport scheme
A family-run property developer has submitted plans for a Greater Manchester housing scheme.
Hall & Co Property hopes to create 48 Churchgate, in Stockport.
It says the 27 one and two-bed apartment venture would create an “exciting new vision” for the town’s Underbanks area.
The blueprint – designed by Ollier Smurthwaite Architects – would see the demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of a car park.
The endeavour would add to Hall & Co’s ongoing work at Underbanks, which includes the Albion House and St Mary’s Gate projects.
Jamie Hall, Hall & Co Property director, said: “48 Churchgate is a continuation of a series of projects we are underway with in the Underbanks area, transforming underused buildings to create high-quality new apartments.
“We’re pleased to be able to invest further in Stockport town centre, contributing to the exciting new vision for the town and its ambitious housing targets.”
Hall & Co was advised by Broadgrove Planning and Development.
The company is working on other developments across the UK, which include Kings Row, in Macclesfield; Curtis Farm, in Cheshire; and Y Bluen Goch, in Conwy, Wales.
