Rail work signals growth for recruitment firm
A recruitment firm says it is on track for future success after securing a rail deal.
Ford and Stanley Talent Services Group has won a three-year contract to meet Buckland Rail’s staffing needs.
Bosses say the tie-up will use the Derby-based company’s three divisions – Ford & Stanley TalentWise, Ford & Stanley Recruitment and Ford & Stanley Executive Search – to provide employees from shop floor to boardroom level.
Operating across the passenger and freight sectors, Hampshire-based Buckland Rail provides services including wagon maintenance, bogie overhaul and material supply.
Daniel Taylor, Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group director, said: “We have worked with the leadership team of Buckland Rail throughout the last six months to tailor a service provision to their business need.
“It’s going to be an exciting few years ahead; we’re both delighted and privileged to play our part in supporting the journey.”
Jackie Glover, Buckland Rail group supply chain and procurement director, added: “As our business looks to grow exponentially in the years ahead, a priority for us has been to appoint a reputable, credible recruitment partner.
“Ford & Stanley came forward with the most innovative, low maintenance yet highly effective solutions.”
Ford & Stanley operates a further office in London.
