Lawfront strengthens with Brachers agreement
A legal services group has expanded with a law firm takeover.
Lawfront has bought Brachers.
Officials say the deal for the Maidstone and Canterbury-based operator will help Brachers “accelerate ambitious growth plans, enhance client services, offer further people development and increase IT investment”.
They add the agreement marks Lawfront’s fifth large regional firm acquisition and its 11th in total, taking group fee income to £100 million.
Neil Lloyd, Lawfront chief executive, said: “I am delighted to partner with Brachers, a firm with such a strong reputation in its region.
“Our approach to the general legal services market is unique: backing firms’ management teams, preserving their client facing brands, enhancing the prospects of their people and bringing to bear our considerable experience in marketing, IT, finance, people and compliance.”
Joanna Worby, Brachers managing partner, added: “Our partnership with Lawfront is a great opportunity to accelerate growth and create enhanced opportunities for staff and clients.
“Being part of Lawfront, which focuses heavily on client care, investment and growth, aligns perfectly with our ambition and values.
“Moreover, having the benefits of being part of a bigger group, while retaining our brand and culture, made joining an attractive option.”
