Salford's MediaCity unveils its largest content studio
A £600,000 content studio has been unveiled by Salford’s MediaCity.
Spanning 8400sq ft on the second floor of White Tower, the facility has been designed to meet growing demand for high-spec, multi-purpose content production spaces.
Curated by University of Salford alumnus Ashley Salmon and designed by Consensus Workspace, the studio is set to become a hub for creators, influencers and businesses.
Featuring a diverse range of creative environments, including light, dark and podcast studios, catering to video and stills production, podcasting, photoshoots, castings and experiential media, bosses say the facility has been designed to “nurture the next generation of digital creators and innovators”.
Naomi McCardle, Content Studio general manager, said: “This has been an ambitious response to the growing demand from our occupiers for affordable, blank canvas space.
“We’ve worked closely with our immediate creative community and beyond to deliver exactly what they need.
“By providing the tools, spaces and inspiration, we’re not just supporting the future of content, we’re empowering it.”
Andy Plastow, managing director at Consensus Workspace, added: “We were thrilled to partner with MediaCity again to design and deliver this inspirational new space.
“The finished result is an inspiring space, which promotes creativity, community and collaboration that will help occupiers in not only boosting productivity and innovation but in attracting and retaining the best talent.”
