NWVS names new clinical director
Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS) in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire, has appointed Mary Marrington as its new clinical director.
Mary, who was previously head of oncology and internal medicine, has been with the Linnaeus-owned veterinary hospital since 2016.
A Cambridge graduate and European and RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Oncology, she established NWVS’s dedicated oncology service and introduced its oncology residency programme.
Her appointment marks the next phase of growth for NWVS, which continues to expand its specialist services for pets across the North West.
Mary said: “I’m excited to support our team of outstanding and dedicated clinicians to foster a culture of collaboration, excellence and innovation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client experience.
“At Northwest Veterinary Specialists we always aim to enhance the lives of our patients by providing effective, appropriate surgical and medical solutions.
“We also have a wide range of cutting-edge equipment and modern facilities to help us deliver the very best in care to pets across the region.
“It’s my aim to maintain, and hopefully further improve, our reputation for providing excellent care to our patients, clients and referring vets.
“To achieve this, I will focus on supporting and developing the whole team here at Northwest to ensure we are the very best that we can be.”
