Beauchamp Estates strengthens board
Beauchamp Estates has appointed William Carrington, co-founder of LonRes, as non-executive chairman, alongside finance and business expert Gerard Soames, who joins as a non-executive director.
William brings nearly 40 years of experience in prime London residential property and played a key role in shaping modern estate agency and valuation through LonRes, which he co-founded in 2000.
He remains chairman of the platform, which serves over 2,500 subscribers with real-time market data and commission-sharing opportunities.
William said: “As an independent company, Beauchamp Estates punch far above their weight and are both respected and admired by their contemporaries in the prime central London arena, both at home and abroad.
“I am proud to be a part of the next stage of their growth and development.”
Meanwhile, Gerard joins with more than three decades of experience in finance and strategic leadership, having held senior roles at KPMG, Tetra Pak, Credit Suisse and Royal Mail Group.
Gerard added: “I am pleased to join Beauchamp Estates and to use my financial expertise and strategic thinking to support the agency to continue its exciting expansion plans.”
These appointments support Beauchamp Estates’ strategy to evolve into a full-service agency, expanding its in-house valuation, building surveying, and legal services.
Founded in 1979, the firm operates across London, France, Spain, Greece and New York, specialising in ultra-prime residential property.
Gary Hersham, founding director of Beauchamp Estates, added: “We are very proud to welcome William Carrington and Gerard Soames to Beauchamp Estates, where they bring their considerable experience and expertise to assist us with our plans for continued growth in London and beyond.
“Having such well respected industry specialists join us serves as a testament to the brand that we have spent over 40 years building.”
