Development finance lender Atelier, headquartered in Soho, London, has appointed Matthew-Blaine Young as head of origination to support its growth strategy.
Previously head of origination at Secure Trust Bank, Matthew brings extensive experience in SME development finance and stretch senior development loans.
His expertise will help drive Atelier’s goal of expanding its loan book beyond £500 million by March 2026.
Matthew will focus on identifying new business opportunities, enhancing pipeline management and strengthening relationships with brokers and developers across key real estate debt markets.
He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Atelier, a forward-thinking development finance lender that is making a real impact in the market.
“Their commitment to innovation, speed, and tailored funding solutions aligns perfectly with my passion for supporting the markets leading brokers and property developers.
“I look forward to contributing to Atelier’s continued growth and helping our brokers and borrowers bring their projects to life.”
Chris Gardner, chief executive at Atelier, added: “After an extensive search, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Blaine Young as head of origination.
“His appointment underpins our strategy of supporting bankable SME property developers focused on residential, care, and PBSA.
