Counter grows with new hires and contract wins
A Leeds and Manchester-based tech consultancy has strengthened its client portfolio with new wins and contract extensions.
Counter has secured a contract with Skipton Building Society to support the delivery of the mutual's new customer web and mobile applications.
It has also extended a collaboration with Manchester Airports Group for a further three months following an initial six-month engagement, enhancing the websites and mobile experience across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports.
The consultancy, which is the business-to-business division of technology training company Northcoders, has also made key appointments, with Andrew Saich and Matt Ward joining as client growth lead and growth adviser, respectively, and Harriet Howell-Black joining as engagement lead.
Amul Batra, Counter managing director, said: “Since the launch of Counter in May 2024, the demand for our services has grown as prospective clients have understood the simplicity and alignment of our model.
“The contract with Skipton Building Society, and the extension with Manchester Airports Group, are testament to the talents of our consultants, the strength of our client relationships and our unwavering commitment to always being tech problem solvers.”
June Powell, Skipton Building Society engineering enablement lead, added: “I had the pleasure of working with Counter last year on a project, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with them again in a different area of our business.
“I look forward to seeing more of their skills and experience in action as they continue to support our ongoing evolution.”
