New jobs as tech firm secures £200,000 support
A technology firm has revealed job creation and global expansion plans after securing £200,000 funding.
FD Intelligence aims to recruit 16 staff, develop new products and grow internationally following UKSE support.
Bosses say its workforce drive will push the Glasgow-based company’s team to nearly 50 people while helping position Scotland as a “hub for artificial intelligence innovation”.
The firm is known for the PeTar platform, which automates the preparation of personal tax returns and is used by a number of the UK’s top accountancy practices.
Andrew Guy, FD Intelligence founder and chief executive, said: “We’re giving teams the opportunity to reclaim valuable time that can be redirected towards other critical tasks, such as relationship building and strategic planning.
“The funding support from UKSE not only boosts our confidence in continuing our product development but also positions us to build a sustainable, long-term business that will create new jobs in Glasgow and establish Scotland as a hub for artificial intelligence innovation.”
