Clive Owen LLP promotes director to partner

Chartered accountants and business advisers Clive Owen LLP have strengthened their senior team with the promotion of James Davies to audit and assurance partner at its Darlington office.

James joined the firm in 2021 after relocating to the North East and brings extensive experience supporting owner-managed businesses and corporate clients. 

Based on Coniscliffe Road, he now becomes one of 15 partners at the growing practice.

James said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the North since relocating to the region, and it is a great personal honour to become a partner at Clive Owen LLP. 

“The firm has afforded me so many opportunities, building on my experience at national practices, and I am looking forward to supporting our ambitious plans for the future and continuing to deliver for our clients.”

His promotion follows the appointment of Jonathan Doyle as partner in accounts and business advisory at the firm’s York office.

Founded in 1983, Clive Owen LLP now operates across Darlington, Durham, York, Middlesbrough and Newcastle, with a 150-strong team.
