Award win puts restaurant on cloud wine
A Newcastle-based fine dining restaurant is celebrating a regional accolade with a limited-time experience for customers.
Dobson & Parnell, located on the city’s historic Quayside, has scooped Gold in the ‘Taste of the North East’ category at the North East England Tourism Awards, recognising the restaurant’s outstanding use of local produce, creative menus and consistently high levels of customer service.
To mark the win, the restaurant is offering complimentary wine pairings for guests who book a three-course meal between Wednesday and Friday until the end of June.
Known for its refined take on British and European cuisine, Dobson & Parnell, which has earned its place in both the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide for several years running, is part of the Hooked-On Group alongside Blackfriars and Hinnies.
Ruth Terrington, operations director at Dobson & Parnell, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised with the Gold award for Taste of the North East.
“It’s a real testament to the passion and hard work of our entire team – from our chefs who champion seasonal and sustainable ingredients, to our front-of-house staff who create a warm, memorable experience for every guest.
“We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant regional food scene and can’t wait to celebrate this achievement with our customers – old and new – over a glass of something special.”
