Jones Hargreaves expands Manchester team

Jones Hargreaves, a commercial building surveying, project, and sustainability consultancy, has expanded its Manchester team in response to a 50 per cent increase in commercial property instructions. 

David Alty has joined as an associate partner, bringing 13 years of experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare and public sector environments. 

Previously a senior associate director at Anderton Gables, David specialises in project management, contract administration, technical due diligence and technical defects reports.

David said: “Jones Hargreaves is a forward-thinking and agile consultancy with a great client base and a large amount of high-quality projects. 

“I’m excited to work with the team to deliver a great service to new and existing clients and continue to build on the firm’s fantastic reputation in Manchester and the North West.”

David’s appointment comes as the Manchester office experiences significant growth, with high-profile projects including the office fit-out of Gilbanks’ 34,000sq ft No. 1 St Michaels development and the refurbishment of the Hyphen Building, on Mosley Street. 

The firm, which has offices in Manchester, London, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow and Cardiff, recently opened a seventh office in Birmingham.
