OWC2025 to highlight offshore wind ambitions
A major conference in Hull this week will highlight the Humber region’s expanding role in the offshore wind industry.
The two-day Offshore Wind Connections 2025 (OWC2025), taking place at The Doubletree by Hilton, in Hull, on Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1, will focus on the region’s growing potential to strengthen its position both nationally and globally.
Hosted by Humber Marine & Renewables with headline sponsorship from RWE, OWC2025 brings together industry leaders, developers and infrastructure experts.
The event, now in its 12th year, will explore how the Humber can capitalise on the next phase of offshore wind development, featuring panel sessions, an exhibition and high-level networking.
The conference will culminate in the Humber Renewables Awards.
Andrew Oliver, chair of Humber Marine & Renewables, said: “OWC2025 is being held at time of rapid growth and big ambitions.
“The Humber has already shown what’s possible when the industry and local partners work together, and we will share intelligence so we can seize the opportunity to develop our strength in the UK market and as a global player.”
