Ex-footballer on target with Supernova endeavour
A Cheshire-based wellness company is celebrating rapid expansion as demand grows for organic supplements.
Supernova Living, co-founded by former professional footballer Jermaine Beckford and his wife Laura, has reported 270 per cent growth over the past year.
Launched in 2018, the couple’s range of organic adaptogenic blends – formulated with ingredients such as ashwagandha and red maca – is designed to boost energy and support overall wellbeing for the whole family.
Inspired by Jermaine’s struggles with regular injuries, fatigue and bloating during his playing career, as well as Laura’s background in human biology, the pair spent years researching formulas with global experts before launching their product line.
Jermaine, who played for Leeds United and Everton, and is now a TV pundit, said: “After seven years in business, this is a really exciting time for Supernova Living.
“We’re passionate about improving wellbeing using simple steps and believe small, positive habits can create lasting change, so we’re really pleased to see our brand grow and help even more people.
“We shouldn’t just be aiming to get through the day, but to feel energised, alert, focused and happy, and the results of our plant-based blends speak for themselves.
“It’s truly fulfilling to hear how many people are feeling the benefits, and we’re keen to keep growing and evolving.”
Laura, a wellness advocate and former television presenter, added: “Our philosophy is that prevention is better than cure, which is why our whole family, as well as our team, take Supernova every single day.
“Each ingredient plays a positive role in supporting, balancing and preventing illness in our bodies.
“There is nothing more important to prioritise than feeling good and being healthy, and we shouldn’t wait until we lose it to appreciate our health.
“It’s a privilege to help so many people feel better, more energised and more focused, and we’re excited for what’s to come.”
