Cheers! Brewer boosts capacity with new tanks
A beer maker is raising a glass to increased production.
Anarchy Brewery has bought four fermentation tanks.
Bosses at the Tyneside firm say the equipment will expand work on “popular ales and one-off brews”.
The company is known for a raft of ales made at its Heaton base, which include Blonde Star, Citra Star and Wor Beer.
It also recently launched the Red Sky 0.5% IPA, in partnership with charity Red Sky Foundation, with donations from every sale supporting its work to provide lifesaving equipment for babies, children and adults living with complex heart conditions.
James Allan, head brewer, said: “This really couldn’t have come at a better time.
“Sales of our regular range are growing and we are receiving an increasing number of requests for special brews too, so this increased capacity will make all the difference.”
