Lettings firm deepens pool with Ocean acquisition
A holiday lettings firm has expanded with a takeover.
Classic Cottages has bought Ocean Cottages.
The deal for the North Devon operator – completed for an undisclosed sum – adds 55 properties to Cornwall-based Classic Cottages’ 1400-plus portfolio.
The agreement follows previous takeovers of Norfolk Holiday Homes and Yorkshire Dales-based Cat Hole Cottages, and builds on parent company Sapphire Holidays’ acquisition of Dorset’s Grandeur Property Management earlier this year.
Dan Harrison, Classic Cottages’ commercial director, said: “This strengthens our presence in the South West.
“Ocean Cottages places great emphasis on providing high levels of service to both guests and owners, and we’re delighted to welcome them to our portfolio.”
