WJM announces raft of promotions and hires
Scottish law firm Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has made 14 promotions and two new senior hires across its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.
Kathleen Waller joins as senior legal director to support the growth of WJM’s construction practice, while Eilidh Campbell becomes associate in Inverness, strengthening the firm’s rural business team.
The corporate team sees Fergus Hollins promoted to senior associate, alongside Alexander Campbell and Vicky Ward.
Catherine Feechan becomes senior legal director, while Michelle Mahon is promoted to senior paralegal.
In the conflict resolution group, Iona Whyte steps up to associate, Hilary Steer to senior solicitor and Caroline Matthews to senior associate.
Finally, the commercial property team welcomes Ellis Walls and Lisa Graham as senior associates, with Lisa Kitson, Lizzy Enayati and Stephanie Mackenzie all becoming senior directors.
Louise Brennan and Jacob Ramsay have also been promoted to senior paralegal.
The firm says the appointments reflect its long-term commitment to growth and developing internal talent, following its recent merger with Davidson Chalmers Stewart.
Fraser Gillies, managing partner at WJM, said: “Kathleen’s appointment enhances our ability to service our growing real estate client base now we have joined forces with Davidson Chalmers Stewart, while Eilidh’s expertise in working with rural businesses, landowners and estates will make her a real asset to our award-winning private client team.
“We’re pleased to welcome them, and to announce well deserved promotions across the team, underlining our commitment to developing our key people.
“I’m also proud to recognise the talented individuals who’ve joined us as part of the Davidson Chalmers Stewart business.”
