Knight Frank nets £6 million investment deals
A Yorkshire-based commercial real estate consultancy is showcasing continued investor appetite in the region with two major transactions completed this month.
Knight Frank’s Leeds office has secured close to £6 million in deals for high net-worth clients.
Acting alongside its Birmingham team, the firm represented Swiss Life in the sale of an ASDA petrol station and convenience store in Knaresborough, which sold for just under £3 million.
The firm also acquired a single-let industrial unit in Normanton for a similar price on behalf of a local investor.
Graham Foxton, partner at Knight Frank, said: “It’s great to get some deals over the line and show the country the strength of confidence in the Yorkshire property investment market across all sectors.
“We are approaching a real turning point in our region with the imminent completion of some grade A residential space in the city centre, which is quickly bringing amenities, people and a real buzz to the city.”
Knight Frank has also been instructed to market 2 Brewery Wharf, a high-quality office building in Leeds city centre.
Graham added: “2 Brewery Wharf offers good value for a private investor and the opportunity to capture rental growth, which is now being seen throughout the city in the office sector.
“Offers are invited at around £4 million.”
