Sowden & Sowden bolsters digital team
East Yorkshire agency Sowden & Sowden has made two new hires as it strengthens its digital marketing offer following a series of new client wins.
Yasmin Brown joins as paid digital manager, bringing experience from brands including Argos and Joules, while Sam Tasker has made the move from Toyota and Lexus to become senior marketing executive.
Yasmin said: “The inhouse creative capabilities here make a huge difference.
“The way strategy, content and production come together under one roof is fast paced, agile and exciting – it’s the kind of setup I’ve always wanted to be part of.”
Sam added: “I was keen to join an established agency where I could still make a difference. Sowdens has allowed me to take a truly joined up approach to marketing and push the creative envelope – whether it’s growing social communities, building influencer partnerships, or developing campaigns that go viral.”
The appointments follow Sowden & Sowden’s Google Partner certification and its accreditation as a Living Wage Employer, marking continued growth for the agency.
Managing director Polly Sowden added: “We’ve seen strong, sustained growth over the past 12 months, with 10 new client wins and ongoing projects expanding in scope.
“Acquiring the right talent is the most important key to continued growth. Hiring was – and still is – one of the most important things we do.
“By investing in people like Yas and Sam, we’re strengthening the team behind every campaign –bringing together strategic thinking and creativity in everything we deliver.”
