Holden Smith hires head of litigation
Yorkshire and Manchester law firm Holden Smith has appointed Paul Phillips as head of litigation as it targets £9 million turnover by October.
Based at the firm’s Horsforth office, Paul will lead civil litigation cases across Yorkshire and the North West, supporting individuals and businesses with disputes, financial claims and injury cases.
Paul said: “Holden Smith is clearly an ambitious firm that is going places and as soon as I spoke with David about the role, I knew it was where I wanted to be.
“I’m delighted to be joining as head of litigation at an exciting time with further growth on the horizon and look forward to working closely with the team to establish and grow our litigation team.”
David Bancroft, director at Holden Smith, which now has a headcount of 90 and recently reported a £8.6 million turnover, added: “We’re very pleased to welcome someone with Paul’s experience to the firm.
“His appointment is a key milestone in the growth of Holden Smith as we push forward with ambitious plans to expand our litigation team and client portfolio.
“With his extensive experience supporting businesses and individuals with dispute resolution, Paul is absolutely the right person to support us with this.”
