Omnia breaks new ground with Shantui deal
A Teesside-based machinery business is driving international growth through a new distribution deal.
Omnia Machinery, founded by entrepreneurs Sam Brown, Ashley Vaughan and Jonathan Rea, has partnered with Chinese manufacturer Shantui Construction Machinery Co to supply heavy equipment across the North East and Yorkshire.
Established eight years ago, Omnia has grown rapidly to serve buyers worldwide, dealing in construction and earthmoving machinery.
Bosses say the new partnership marks a significant step in Omnia’s UK expansion, strengthening its position in the global plant machinery market.
Ashley said: “Our Billingham head office is thriving, and the Miami branch is already off to a great start, so we wanted to expand into other areas and really push our brand further.
“This collaboration will allow us to provide earthmoving equipment for the North of England and better our ability to meet customers' machine requirements.
“The equipment will cover everything from mini diggers to wheel loaders and more.”
Jonathan added: “Our whole team is ready for the launch.
“We’ve got so many plans in the pipeline and we genuinely can’t wait to see where we’ll end up in the next five years.”
