Stationery brand writes own success
A stationery company has been recognised for its outstanding online retail presence.
Under the Rowan Trees, an independent brand from rural Northumberland, has won Best Online Retailer at the 2025 Stationery Awards, held during the London Stationery Show.
Founded in 2015 by Danielle Stanley, the business began as a hobby and has since grown into a popular online destination for stationery enthusiasts.
The company, which offers journaling supplies, creative subscription boxes and sustainable stationery products, was praised for its commitment to quality, creativity and customer experience.
Danielle said: “I was shocked to be a finalist for the Best Online Retailer category, and I still can't believe we won.
“Under the Rowan Trees has grown and changed over the last ten years, as have I as a business owner, and I’m so proud I’m able to show that us little guys can be just as amazing (if not more so) than the big brands with huge teams and deep pockets.”
Danielle added: “I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us to get here, including my team (I’m the only full-time employee), the brands we work with, the business support community and, most importantly, our customers who support and champion us every day.”
