Hargreaves appoints new chief operating officer

Durham-headquartered Hargreaves Services plc has appointed Simon Hicks as chief operating officer to lead growth across its services division.

Simon joins the board with senior experience spanning infrastructure, energy, utilities and waste, including roles at Evero Energy, Altrad and Bilfinger. 

He will oversee the firm’s logistics, land, environmental and industrial services operations in the UK and internationally.

Simon’s appointment supports Hargreaves’ growth in the infrastructure and sustainability sectors, as its environmental division doubles in size and demand for turnkey solutions increases.
