Landmark Properties appoints new managing director
Landmark Properties has appointed Ioannis Verdelis as managing director of development and investment to help lead its European operations.
Working alongside Alex Katsnelson and Tom Banning, Ioannis will support the growth of a pan-European student accommodation and residential investment platform.
He brings over 15 years of experience to the role, joining from Vita Group where he served as chief investment officer.
At Vita, Ioannis also led international expansion into Spain, delivering major student schemes and building local capabilities.
He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Landmark at such a pivotal moment in its international growth.
“Landmark is the market leader in US student accommodation, and its entry into Europe is a significant move with aspirations to grow to a leading position.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to bear as we accelerate our investment activity and establish Landmark as a major player in this region.”
Wes Rogers, chairman and chief executive of Landmark Properties, added: “We are excited to welcome Ioannis to the Landmark team.
“His track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across Europe – particularly in the student housing sector – combined with his reputation for leadership and innovation, will be a significant addition to the leadership of our European-based team.”
