thinkmoney appoints new PR manager
Manchester-based banking app thinkmoney has appointed Vix Leyton as its new PR manager.
Vix brings more than 15 years of award-winning experience in consumer finance, media relations and brand storytelling.
She has held senior roles across a range of personal finance brands and is recognised for her strategic creativity and ability to deliver high-impact campaigns.
Vix is also an independent consumer expert, regularly appearing in the media on household money matters and hosting the podcast Spendology.
In her new role, Vix will lead thinkmoney’s media strategy and external communications, working closely with the marketing and leadership teams to raise the company’s profile, support growth objectives and champion financial wellbeing for customers across the UK.
She said: “I’ve always been drawn to organisations that make a real difference in people’s lives, and thinkmoney does just that.
“I’m excited to join a company that’s committed to helping people take control of their finances, and I look forward to telling that story in new and compelling ways.”
Mike Aldred, chief executive of thinkmoney, added: “Vix is an exciting addition to the thinkmoney team.
“Not only does she bring impressive, relevant experience in PR, but also a genuine passion and track record for starting conversations on financial empowerment for all, and a drive to provide people with the support they need to get the best financial outcomes, regardless of their circumstances.
“We’re thrilled to have her on board as we continue to grow and evolve our brand.
“We have a lot of exciting things coming up.”
