Managed IT provider expands client portfolio
A Newcastle-based IT services firm is broadening its reach across the North East.
Tecuna, a managed IT services company based at the Cobalt Business Exchange, in Wallsend, has acquired the client portfolio of Bowe Digital, originally founded by Karen Bowe in 1992.
Bosses say the move strengthens Tecuna’s presence locally and beyond, allowing the firm to support a wider range of organisations while staying true to its core values of dependable service, simplicity and strong client relationships.
They add that the acquisition increases Tecuna’s capacity and complements its service-focused team, enabling the company to welcome new clients while remaining open to discussions with other managed service providers (MSPs) considering exiting the market.
David Ross, chief executive of Tecuna, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Bowe Digital’s clients into the Tecuna family.
“Karen built a respected business over many years, and we’re proud to continue that tradition by looking after her clients with care and commitment.
“We know that some MSP owners may be thinking about their next chapter.
“If you're looking for a trusted home for your clients, one that values relationships and quality support , we’d be more than happy to have a confidential conversation.”
Founded just a few years ago, Tecuna was created to deliver practical, high-quality IT support without unnecessary complexity.
Backed by Richard Hogg and Anthony Broadhead, chief executive and chief operating officer, respectively, of specialist recruitment and outsourced talent services partner Jackson Hogg, the firm provides reliable, scalable services to businesses of all sizes, both locally and internationally.
