NHS trust in good health with property agreement
A healthcare operator is feeling fitter with a 15-year property lease.
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust has secured a 13,000sq ft hub at Dean Clough, in Halifax.
Bosses say the base will provide office space and support clinical operations across areas including its amputee outpatient service, bladder and bowel outpatient service and lymphoedema outpatient service.
Community services at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust occupy 5722sq ft on the ground floor and 7511sq ft on the fourth floor of the recently renovated Victorian Bowling Mill building at Dean Clough.
Jenny Clark, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust director of operations for community services, said: “Bowling Mill provides us with a fantastic environment to better support the needs of patients.
“Thank you to all colleagues and patients who have been involved in making the move so successful.”
Jeremy Hall, Dean Clough chair and managing director, added: “The establishment of the NHS here reinforces the connection and relevance of the mills, while adding to the wonderful community at Dean Clough.”
Ben Johnson Interiors completed the fit-out of the space.
