Weightmans opens new office in Nottingham
A national law firm is expanding its regional footprint with a new office.
Weightmans has opened a Nottingham office, reinforcing its presence across the Midlands and supporting its ambitions for growth and innovation.
Bosses say the new office, located at Cubo, Standard Court, near Nottingham Castle, will serve as a strategic regional hub, complementing existing locations in Birmingham and Leicester while providing access to local talent.
They add that the expansion coincides with the arrival of corporate partners Freya Summers and Mallory Coxe, both former Wright Hassall lawyers, who will strengthen the firm’s corporate practice in the Midlands and nationally.
Sarah Walton, managing partner of Liverpool-headquartered Weightmans, which also has offices in Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle, said: “The opening of our Nottingham office marks a strategic investment that reinforces Weightmans’ long-term commitment to the Midlands.
“This expansion not only strengthens our geographical reach but also allows us to harness the energy and expertise of the region’s dynamic talent pool.
“It’s a proud milestone that brings our sector-leading capabilities and exceptional client service to a broader audience as we continue to build our brand, reputation, and influence across the UK.”
Equity partner Jane Price will lead the Nottingham office, working alongside the new partners to grow operations and enhance client services.
She added: “I am thrilled to take on the role of regional office head for our new Nottingham office.
“It’s an honour to personally welcome Mallory and Freya to the firm – both are outstanding corporate lawyers with a strong reputation in the region.
“Together, we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of client service and playing a pivotal role in Weightmans’ continued growth across the Midlands.”
