Tech firm expands digital learning reach
A West Yorkshire-based digital learning company is set to strengthen its capabilities and accelerate innovation.
Titus Learning, headquartered in Bradford, has bought Skipton-based adaptiVLE, a specialist in Moodle development and support.
Bosses say the acquisition enhances Titus’s open-source expertise and expands its ability to deliver dynamic, scalable and tailored learning solutions for organisations across multiple sectors.
They add that the deal also boosts Titus Learning’s headcount and reinforces its commitment to open-source, community-driven learning technology.
Seb Francis, co-founder of Titus Learning, said: “The addition of the adaptiVLE team's deep expertise in Moodle development and customer delivery enhances Titus capacity to deliver even more dynamic, engaging and impactful learning experiences.”
Lewis Carr, founder of AdaptiVLE, added: “I’m excited about working in a much larger team that will allow us to move faster with our Moodle innovations.
“It will allow us to push the boundaries of what is possible in the Moodle platform.
“Being able to work with more Moodle customers and working on hundreds more Moodle sites will allow us to identify solutions on a bigger scale and build better products that solve real-world problems.
“Being part of the Moodle Partner network provides us with greater alignment with the core product and global Moodle team.”
adaptiVLE brings a strong client portfolio, including the Premier League, Sainsbury’s and the City of York Council, alongside specialist knowledge in Moodle development.
By integrating the two teams, Titus aims to deliver faster innovation and increased operational resilience while continuing to serve existing clients through familiar teams.
