Training provider hails record-breaking year
A vocational training provider is celebrating a record-breaking academic year.
Orangebox Training Solutions says it has guided more than 1300 learners into employment.
Bosses say the success has been driven by its employer-led model, which matches its curriculum to industry needs and ensures every learner secures an interview.
They add its work was recently boosted by a new aftercare team, which provides support across CV writing, job applications and interview techniques.
Based in Hartlepool, the operator counts Tees Valley Combined Authority, North East Combined Authority and East Midlands Combined County Authority among its contracts book.
Ross Leighton, operations manager, said: “We’ve upskilled and guided 1300 learners into employment via a guaranteed interview during the last year.
“We are so proud of the numbers that are heading into work after studying through us year-on-year.”
Nicola Hubble, director of operations, added: “We go on a learner’s journey from start to finish.
“There is no generic digital contact; it’s a personable approach where learners know their agent, and that makes a huge difference because they know how much we care.”
Brian Walker, who secured a role as an offshore worker after time with Orangebox, praised the quality of his training.
He said: “The course was by far the best I've done.
“The staff were so insightful, and I was always treated with respect.”
Connor Ibbotson, now a recycling sector worker, added: “Orangebox helped me gain the qualification I needed and helped me build on my teamwork and people skills.”
