SPELK Studio expands creative team
North East-based award-winning furniture business SPELK Studio has appointed Graeme Smith as creative director.
Graeme brings 18 years of interior design experience, having previously led retail and commercial design at Danesmoor Group in Newton Aycliffe.
He has overseen high-profile projects across commercial and residential interiors, combining creativity with functional design.
As co-owner and creative director at SPELK Studio, Graeme will oversee interiors, bespoke furniture and client projects, supporting the studio’s growth in its interiors offering while maintaining its focus on craftsmanship and context-driven design.
The appointment reflects SPELK Studio’s ambition to expand its design services, including bespoke furniture, fitted kitchens and interiors commissions.
Kelly Smith, founder of SPELK Studio, said: “Having lived and worked alongside Graeme for years, I know first-hand the depth of his creative vision and his ability to turn ideas into spaces people love.
“His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for SPELK Studio as we continue to push the boundaries of bespoke design in the North East and beyond.”
