Ingeus shines with workplace accreditation
A North East employer has been recognised for outstanding workplace culture.
Ingeus has achieved the Advanced level SHINE Accreditation, highlighting its commitment to a fair, inclusive and empowering workplace.
The award, developed by the North East Combined Authority, celebrates employers excelling in health and wellbeing, social responsibility, employee voice, inclusive opportunities and fair work and pay.
Attaining the Advanced level places Ingeus among the region’s top-performing organisations for employee engagement and workplace quality.
The company has embedded SHINE’s framework into its culture, creating an environment where staff are supported to thrive, diversity is valued and wellbeing is prioritised.
It also reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to people-first practices and demonstrates the tangible impact of investing in workplace culture.
Juliet Mortiss, people and culture director at Ingeus, said: “This recognition reflects the heart of our culture at Ingeus.
“We believe in supporting every individual to thrive, and SHINE has helped us benchmark and build on that commitment.
“This recognition not only validates our internal culture but also strengthens our reputation as a socially responsible employer, helping us attract and retain people who share our values and want to make a meaningful impact.”
North East mayor Kim McGuinness added: “Shine is more than just a badge of recognition; it’s a commitment to building a region where people don’t just find work, but thrive in it.
“Your accreditation is a powerful endorsement of the values you uphold and the environment you’re creating for your workforce.
“Congratulations on achieving advanced level!”
