Flooring Superstore hits 50 store milestone
A North East-based flooring retailer is continuing its rapid UK expansion.
Flooring Superstore, headquartered in Bishop Auckland, in County Durham, has officially opened its 50th store, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth across the home retail sector.
The achievement follows a £1 million investment in six new showrooms this year, including openings in Manchester, Hove and Harlow, with plans for five more before the end of 2025.
Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Dan Foskett, Flooring Superstore began as an e-commerce business before evolving into a hybrid model that combines online convenience with interactive showroom experiences.
Each store follows the brand’s customer-first format, offering free samples, specialist in-store support and over 5000 flooring options spanning carpet, vinyl, wood and artificial grass.
Dan said: “This milestone represents the strength of our business model and the confidence our customers have in our brand.
“What started as an online-only operation has become a scalable, nationwide business built around customer needs.
“By combining our digital strengths with tangible retail experiences, and developing exclusive brands, we’re offering stylish, practical flooring with substance and building long-term market differentiation.
“Our focus remains on delivering quality products, providing expert advice and a seamless customer experience.”
Flooring Superstore has also launched its own flooring ranges, including EvoCore, a waterproof flooring solution designed to meet growing demand for practical yet stylish options at accessible prices.
The retailer’s strong performance has seen turnover reach £50 million in 2025, underscoring continued consumer demand despite a challenging retail climate.
