High net worth tax expert joins Saffery

Saffery’s Leeds office has appointed Fiona Harford-Cross as a private client senior tax manager. 

Fiona brings more than 25 years’ experience advising high net worth individuals, having previously worked at KPMG in Leeds for over 20 years and spent six years at Deloitte.

In her new role, she will support clients across Yorkshire and the North of England on personal tax matters, with a focus on trusts, landed estates and family wealth structuring. 

Fiona said: “Saffery is a widely respected firm that has always had a strong reputation for its personal tax expertise, particularly surrounding both trusts and landed estates. 

“These are both areas that I have spent many years specialising in, and when the firm moved to Leeds late last year, I knew it was a place where I could work and add further value.

“I’m now looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead as we continue to build our client base across the North of England.”

Saffery’s Yorkshire personal and private client tax team now comprises 14 specialists, helping individuals structure tax affairs in a practical and commercially aware way.

The firm relocated its Leeds office to Wellington Place last year and employs 72 staff there, including five partners.
